The Sperling Laboratory at Stanford University is focused on the biology and treatment of hematopoietic malignancies with a particular focus on understanding mechanisms of therapy resistance and disease evolution.

To better understand these processes, we utilize a combination of functional genetics, mouse models, proteomics, molecular biology, and biochemistry. We are committed to understanding the mechanisms by which disease arises and evolves so that we can develop novel therapies for prevention and treatment and thus improve outcomes for patients.
